Hero  Pest Control FAQ

Does Hero Pest Control guarantee their work?

Yes, every service we provided is explained in writing and backed with a written guarantee!

Why do I need an inspection of my home or before receiving a quote?

Most treatment plans cannot be designed until we understand the scope of the problem. We find our customers have better satisfaction when they have the right expectations with a thorough inspection. For information on scheduling a free estimate contact us by phone or email.

Are your pest control methods safe?

Most of the products that we use inside your home are odorless and colorless. These products have all been approved by the EPA and are applied in areas were insects live and typically not in areas of human contact!

Can I get rid of my pest problem on my own?

Many of our customers have attempted to solve their own pest and lawn problems, unsuccessfully! Most products sold “over the counter”, are designed for short term relief until professional treatment can be delivered. Many years of training and experience go into identifying and treating our customers pest problems.

How often will I need pest control services for my home?

Inside pest problems can often be solved with our “Once a year service”. Lawn and ornamental treatments are performed every other month. Our termite treatments are performed every 10 years with an annual inspection.

Will I be required to vacate my home when you provide services?

Normally it is not necessary for our customers to leave their homes during or after treatment. There are a few exceptions, but very uncommon!

Am I required to sign a contract in order to receive services?

You are able to stop services at any time with a 30 day written notice. We always like the opportunity to address any concerns that our customers might have, feel free to contact us any time!.

My neighbor has had treatments for termite infestation. Should I be concerned?

Termites are everywhere! Every home in Florida should be inspected at least annually for all types of termites. Even though termites live behind wall coverings a thorough inspection can help identify conditions that are attractive to termites.

How can I keep mice and rats off of my property?

Most rodents can fit through tiny holes, sometimes as small as the size of a quarter! Keeping debri away from your home, picking up fallen fruit, sealing any holes on your home, as well as keeping tree limbs and shrubs away from your roof line will help!

Are preventative programs always necessary?

Most people have heard the saying, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!” It usually requires less time and less pesticide application to prevent a problem than to correct an existing problem. Not to mention the fact that customers will save money by preventing damages to their property!
